Dimity and Rudy were always certain that a winter wedding was for them. So when it came to their wedding day in June, not wanting them to be disappointed, the weather gods definitely produced the goods, ushering in one of the coldest and wettest days of winter. Did Dim and Rudy mind? Not a bit. Did any of the guests mind? They were too busy having a great time. And for me, with a few umbrellas, some tree coverage and very happy newlyweds we still got some really beautiful shots in the Stables plus some outside when the couple were more than happy to brave the Artic breeze.
Dimity was absolutely radiant in her Pallas Couture gown, everyone could barely take their eyes off her, especially Rudy. The page boy definitely stole some of their limelight - Dim and Rudy’s Scottish Deerhound Gunther was an integral part of their ceremony and no one could believe how well he behaved. When he heard his name called, he was up and ready to offer the wedding rings and they hadn’t even practiced. Gunther is such an important part of this couple’s life and it was awesome to see him play such a great role in their wedding.
