Anna and Tim enjoyed a very personal and laid back summer wedding in their hometown of Melbourne. Tim and I are both keen rock-climbers including some great weekend climbing trips to the Grampians and Mt Arapiles, but I unfortunately lost him as a climbing partner when Tim and Anna moved to Western Australia for work. I was happy to hear they were making their way back to Melbourne for their wedding celebrations and I was more than happy to capture their day.
The ceremony was held in a small church in Moorabbin where we also got some lovely shots of everyone catching up. We then moved on to the McClelland Sculpture Gallery which is one of the best wedding photo locations you can ask for. Combine the fun location with enthusiastic participants including a groundsman who so kindly lent us a golf buggy and I knew there was excellent potential here. The sculpture garden gave me a great opportunity to play around with people in a really interesting environment, my favourite type of portrait, and Anna and Tim gave me complete licence to be really creative which I totally appreciated. I think the girls had the most fun of all driving the golf buggy at high speed across the grounds with the guys in full pursuit.
